Slow Vinyasa Yoga At 3rd Eye with Sarah S.
Rooted in the deeper teachings of yoga, each class weaves in elements of yogic philosophy—from the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, or other classical texts—offering reflections on themes such as non-attachment, self-study, compassion, and inner strength. Through mindful movement and philosophical inquiry, you’ll be invited to explore how the practice extends beyond the mat into everyday life.
This class is open to all levels and is ideal for those seeking a slower, more introspective practice that nourishes both body and mind.
Flow classes are intended to provide a middle ground for the Yang practices. Blending elements of vinyasa and hatha by flowing and holding Asanas/Poses.

Flow is slower paced than your vinyasa classes but faster and more succinct than a Hatha practice. Classes will have elements of flowing sequences as well as extended holds so that practitioners can get aspects of expression and structure in a balanced and all levels friendly container. The degree to which each element is present will be individual to the teacher but regardless this class is inclusive to all.
The main goal of this style of yoga is to create a state of calmness and balance while finding strength. You can also perform it as a form of moving meditation. It helps bring the body into a state of deep relaxation and mindfulness by working with the breath and practicing mindful movements and holds in a slow and gentle manner.

Yoga is like a heart-healthy superhero. It can help improve cardiovascular health by reducing stress, lowering blood pressure, and improving circulation. Plus, it's a lot more fun than running on a treadmill all day.
Yoga helps with energy levels like a cup of coffee, providing a natural boost of energy without the caffeine crash. It can help improve circulation, increase oxygen intake, and reduce fatigue. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than chugging a pot of coffee.
To prevent injuries during yoga practice, treat your body like a delicate flower – with care and respect. Warm up properly, listen to your body, and don't push yourself too far. And remember, it's better to take a break and rest than to force yourself into a pose that could lead to injury.
Yoga is like a peaceful hike in the woods, while Pilates is like a high-intensity workout at the gym. Both practices can improve strength, flexibility, and posture, but yoga has a more spiritual and meditative focus, while Pilates is more focused on core strength and control.
Yoga can help with fibromyalgia symptoms like a soothing balm for your body. It can help reduce pain and stiffness, improve sleep, and reduce stress. Plus, it's a lot more fun than suffering in silence.
