Core Cultivation At Flow Yoga Westgate with Sanieh M.
-grounded stability poses
-arm balances
-transitions in flow-based classes
-any and all movement patterns in general including but not limited to: standing up from a seated position, slowing down, pushing, pulling, lifting and so much more…
Attendees will gain an understanding of the psychology of core strength where it relates to the technology of yoga and the energy body. Learn methods for developing a useful strong core and activating a healthy core brace. Learn how to “turn on” the neuro-muscular connection to this mysterious part of the body and how doing so can assist in supporting the back and spine, stability and balance and increased longevity.
We will end class with yin style yoga counter-poses to neutralize the muscular work and contraction we’ll be doing in class.
Note: While we will most definitely be physically working exploring different ways of connecting to and activating core strength, this is an anatomical and technicality focused class - not a “workout” class in and of itself, per se.
Early bird ticket - $40 before January 1st, $50 thereafter

Yoga helps with posture and body alignment like a GPS, guiding you towards your destination. It can help you learn to stand tall, align your spine, and move with more ease and grace. Plus, it's a lot more fun than listening to a robotic voice telling you where to turn.
There are many different types of yoga, each with their own focus and approach. Some of the most common include:
Yoga can help with migraines like a superhero swooping in to save the day. It can help reduce stress and tension, which are common migraine triggers. Plus, the focus on breath control can help you manage migraine pain.
Yoga helps with posture like a tailor, making sure everything fits just right. It can help improve alignment, strengthen core muscles, and increase body awareness. Plus, it's a lot more fun than standing in front of a mirror with a measuring tape.
Yoga can help with emotional well-being like a soothing hug for your soul. It can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve self-esteem, and increase feelings of happiness and well-being. Plus, it's a lot more fun than talking to a therapist all day.
