JANUARY | SURRENDER
"POV: New Year, New Me" - where you at? How does this social perspective to the new year make you feel? Do all the pressures to set goals and intentions motivated you to reset each year? Does this perspective bring feelings of shame? Or, like me, are you not quite ready to climb out of hibernation quite yet, and into the new year?
For some, the new year inspires a surge of motivation, an opportunity to envision a brighter future and set ambitious goals. Yet, for others, the pressure to transform overnight can feel overwhelming, leading to feelings of guilt or disappointment if they don't meet these expectations.
It's important to remember that growth and change are not confined to the start of a new year. They are ongoing processes that ebb and flow with the seasons of life. If you're feeling more inclined to stay in your cozy cocoon a while longer, that's perfectly okay. It's about honoring where you are right now and trusting that the right time for action will reveal itself. It always does.
This month, instead of rushing into resolutions, lets consider everything you've become. accomplished, learned from and surrender into this new year nurturing your intentions slowly, like planting seeds. Allow them to take root and grow at their own pace, without the pressure of immediate change. By doing so, we may find the journey becomes a bit more authentic and fulfilling - free from the constraints of societal expectations, and crafted perfectly to you.
What would it feel like to surrender into 2025, knowing your have the tools to trust the path you're walking.
Let's get together and talk about it.

Hatha and Vinyasa yoga are like two sides of the same coin - they both incorporate physical postures, but they have different approaches. Hatha yoga is slower and more static, focusing on holding each pose for longer periods of time, while Vinyasa yoga is more fluid and dynamic, with a focus on linking breath and movement.
Yoga for children is like a superhero training camp, only without the spandex and capes (unless you're into that sort of thing). It can help improve focus, concentration, and coordination, while also promoting self-esteem and body awareness. Plus, it's a great way to tire them out before bedtime.
Yoga can help with menopause symptoms like a soothing balm for your body. It can help reduce hot flashes, improve sleep, and reduce stress. Plus, it's a lot more fun than sitting in a freezer to cool off.
Absolutely! Yoga is like a prenatal and postpartum superhero. It can help improve your strength, flexibility, and endurance during pregnancy, and can also help you recover faster after giving birth. Plus, it's a lot more fun than lying in bed all day.
Yoga is like a breath of fresh air for your respiratory system. It teaches you to breathe deeply and fully, which can improve lung capacity and function. Plus, the focus on breath control can help reduce symptoms of conditions like asthma and COPD.
