One of the most popular yoga myths is the belief that you need to be flexible before ever setting foot on a mat. The truth is, flexibility isn’t a prerequisite. In fact, a regular yoga practice will actually help you become more flexible over time. Increased flexibility can help decrease the risk of injuries, create a better range of motion of joints, lengthen muscles, improve balance and overall health!Flexibility + mobility is a fun, judgment-free space, suitable for all levels. In this class we will work on different muscle groups and joints each week, using Functional movements, CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations), Kinstretch techniques as well as Myofascial release to improve range of motion and flexibility. Props such as straps, bolsters, blocks, and tennis balls will be used to target specific areas and help ease your body into the poses and stretches. Modifications and options will be offered throughout the class.

Everyone is so kind at the Westgate studio. It's always clean, inviting, and smells great too. I like that they provide free yoga mats to borrow, hot tea in the lounge area and ample cubbies for storage. It truly feel like a judgement free zone.

Love this studio! The classes are challenging but not crazy intense like I've experienced at other studios.

Flow yoga is truly made for yoga, rather than the yoga-influenced fitness classes so many other studios offer. No matter what style you love, you can find an instructor and class. I love creative vinyasa so Jacq’s classes have been a perfect fit!

This place is so special. It’s such a serene sms tranquil space you forget almost that you’re in Austin or when a plaza. They have everything here from meditation and yoga classes to night events of ecstatic dance and sound baths. So honored to be able to be a part of this space.

I recently moved to Austin from Hawaii and wanted to find a yoga community. I am certified in Hatha Yoga through the Chopra Center, so I tried to find teachers acquainted with Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga. I bought the 30-day pass, and I love flow yoga. The teachers come from a place of love, compassion, and knowledge. The warm tea is perfect after a class or between classes. The studio is warm and welcoming. I feel like I am home. I love that they have cacao.

I especially appreciate the variety of class times, which fit perfectly into my schedule, and the ease of online booking and check-in. It’s so convenient! The atmosphere is calming. If you live in South Austin, I highly recommend this studio—it’s the perfect place to unwind, stretch, and find inner balance. Truly grateful for this wonderful community!

Flow Yoga in Austin has truly reconnected me with yoga in the most special way. It’s more than just a place for physical practice—the teachers share insights about astrology, meditation, and many classes include sound healing therapy, creating a deeply transformative experience. The community here is welcoming and makes me feel like home. I can’t recommend it enough!

Highly recommend! Just got a membership last month and go multiple times a week. The instructors are very sweet and are super knowledgeable. The slower classes are very grounding while the higher intensity ones are a fun challenge. The classes can get pretty full so be sure to get there early to get a good spot.
