Free: Yoga in the Park
Sat Mar 7 at 10am
Join us at Flow Yoga Cedar Park for a magical Winter Solstice experience honoring the darkest night of the year, a time for slowing down, reflecting deeply, and inviting new light in.
As we gather in community, you’ll be guided through intentional rituals to mark this powerful seasonal turning point, including:
• Cleansing smoke ritual to release the heaviness of the year
• Intention-setting candle ceremony to invite clarity and renewal
• Journaling + reflection prompts inspired by the Solstice themes of rest, rebirth, and inner illumination
• Grounding movement + breathwork to settle, soften, and return to yourself
Then settle into your nest of blankets for an immersive sound-bath journey, a spacious, heart-opening soundscape designed to soothe the nervous system and open the inner senses.
This extra-special Solstice edition features Flow Yoga founder Carolina and special guest artist Woytek, together they will weave sounds of didgeridoo, multi-instrumental magic along with crystal bowls, chimes, and atmospheric tones to create a deeply transportive experience.
Expect spaciousness. Expect release. Expect to reconnect with the quiet wisdom that only the dark of winter can reveal.
This event is open to all. No experience needed, simply come as you are.
The breath is like the DJ of your yoga practice - it sets the rhythm and keeps everything flowing smoothly. It helps you stay focused, calm, and connected to your body as you move through the poses.
Yoga helps with focus and concentration like a laser beam, helping you hone in on the task at hand. It can help improve mental clarity, reduce distractions, and increase productivity. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than staring at a computer screen all day.
Yoga helps with strength like a personal trainer, only without the weight machines and mirrors. It can help you build lean muscle mass, increase flexibility, and improve overall body composition. Plus, it's a lot more peaceful than a crowded gym.
Bringing your own yoga mat to class is like bringing your own pillow to a sleepover – it's a personal preference. Most studios provide mats, but if you're a germaphobe or just want to be extra prepared, feel free to bring your own. Just make sure it's clean and not too slippery.
Yoga helps with posture and body alignment like a GPS, guiding you towards your destination. It can help you learn to stand tall, align your spine, and move with more ease and grace. Plus, it's a lot more fun than listening to a robotic voice telling you where to turn.
