Yin & Sound is a deep and subtle, quiet practice that targets the deepest tissues of your body to promote better circulation, flexibility, and greater joint mobility. Expect a series of long-held, deep stretching poses and enjoy the time to ease stress and anxiety and promote stillness of mind and body.
This class includes sound healing, with singing bowls, gong, rain sticks, chimes, mantras etc...that will leave you feeling lighter, calmer, and more balanced.
Saturday Spotlight is a rotating Saturday feature of existing class styles and teachers.
Yoga is like a circus performer, juggling multiple tasks at once. It improves your balance by strengthening your core and leg muscles, and it enhances your coordination by teaching you to move your body in sync with your breath. Just don't expect to run away and join the circus after a few classes.
There are many different types of yoga, each with their own focus and approach. Some of the most common include:
Yoga helps with energy levels and fatigue like a power nap, helping you recharge and refresh. It can help improve sleep quality, reduce stress, and increase overall energy and vitality. Plus, it's a lot more relaxing than trying to sleep on a crowded airplane.
Yoga can help improve flexibility like a magic potion for your muscles. It can help stretch and lengthen your muscles, which can improve your range of motion. Plus, it's a lot more fun than being stuck in a stretching machine all day.
The breath is like the DJ of your yoga practice - it sets the rhythm and keeps everything flowing smoothly. It helps you stay focused, calm, and connected to your body as you move through the poses.
