Divine Embodiment
Sun Apr 12 at 2pm
Led by Jambavan and fellow members of the Austin Bhakti Satsang, this gathering invites you into the heart of bhakti yoga—the path of love and devotion. Through the joyful and meditative chanting of the holy names, we create a space for deep connection, healing, and spiritual awakening.
Whether you're new to Kirtan or a lifelong devotee, you’re welcome here. Together, we’ll lift our voices, open our hearts, and immerse ourselves in the sacred vibration of mantra.
? What to Expect:
Call-and-response chanting of ancient mantras
A devotional atmosphere grounded in unity and love
Live music with harmonium, drum, and other sacred instruments
A heart-centered community practicing bhakti together
Time to reflect, connect, and be held in sacred sound
??? What to Bring:
An open heart
Comfortable clothes for sitting or light movement
A cushion, blanket, or yoga mat if you’d like to sit on the floor
Water or tea (optional)
This is a free, all-levels community event open to everyone.
Donations are welcome and help support the musicians and the growth of devotional gatherings in Austin.
Let the power of bhakti guide you home to your heart.
The breath is like the DJ of your yoga practice - it sets the rhythm and keeps everything flowing smoothly. It helps you stay focused, calm, and connected to your body as you move through the poses.
Yoga can help improve flexibility like a magic potion for your muscles. It can help stretch and lengthen your muscles, which can improve your range of motion. Plus, it's a lot more fun than being stuck in a stretching machine all day.
Yoga helps with self-confidence like a cheerleader, always there to encourage and support you. It can help you learn to trust your body, improve posture, and increase body awareness. Plus, it's a lot more empowering than wearing a short skirt and shaking pom-poms.
Yoga is like a fountain of youth, but without the creepy side effects. It helps to maintain flexibility, balance, and strength as you age, which can reduce the risk of falls and injuries. Plus, it keeps your mind sharp by teaching you to focus and stay present in the moment – no more forgetting where you left your car keys!
Yoga can help with chronic pain like a soothing balm for your body. It can help reduce pain and stiffness, improve flexibility, and increase strength. Plus, it's a lot more fun than suffering in silence.
