Kirtan Celebration At Flow Yoga Westgate with Mandi R.
Stemming from the branch of Bhakti yoga, Kirtan is a form of meditation that uses call-and-response singing or chanting to express devotion and connect to our hearts. The Austin Kirtan group will be leading us into this magical portal, Jambavan and co.
Expect to chant mantras, hear the sound of musical instruments, and possibly even dance if you feel called!
This event is open to kids and families, all are welcome!

Hatha and Vinyasa yoga are like two sides of the same coin - they both incorporate physical postures, but they have different approaches. Hatha yoga is slower and more static, focusing on holding each pose for longer periods of time, while Vinyasa yoga is more fluid and dynamic, with a focus on linking breath and movement.
Yoga helps with self-confidence like a cheerleader, always there to encourage and support you. It can help you learn to trust your body, improve posture, and increase body awareness. Plus, it's a lot more empowering than wearing a short skirt and shaking pom-poms.
Yoga helps with mental focus and concentration like a superhero cape, giving you the power to stay on task and achieve your goals. It can help you learn to quiet the mind, reduce distractions, and increase mental clarity. Plus, it's a lot more comfortable than wearing a cape.
Yoga is like a gentle cardio workout for your heart. It gets your blood flowing, strengthens your heart muscle, and can help lower blood pressure. Plus, you don't have to worry about your heart skipping a beat when you see your yoga instructor – unless they're really, really attractive.
Yoga can help with emotional healing like a gentle massage for your heart. It can help you process and release emotions, improve self-awareness, and increase feelings of happiness and well-being. Plus, it's a lot more fun than sitting in a therapist's office all day.
